GRAZ JSC (Grabovo Automobile Plant) is one of the few that acts on the basis of “ License №13726-AT to carry out the development, manufacturing, testing and repair of aviation equipment” issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

GRAZ Plant has begun re-equipment of production facilities to new innovative equipment with the advent of a new team at 2000 year.

The enterprise put into operation workshop of innovative technologies. It is a modern complex of sheet metal processing in a blank production. The workshop has been designed and equipped in accordance with European standards.

New equipment allowed raising the level of quality, accuracy, performance and other functional parameters which rose much higher.

There is unique equipment at the Plant – it is the welding line of cards and shells.

Such high-tech equipment makes it possible to produce shells of any size and section for tanks in a semi-automatic mode with high quality and unmatched quality of the undertaken work.

As a result of the line launch there was decrease of operational tasks: some operations are done automatically. Thus completely rules out the human factor and increases safety in the process of manufacturing parts.

The equipment of the new production line meet all EU standards on safety and eliminate all possible risks while operating and possible adverse effects on the environment.

All GRAZ vehicles are designed with due account of the Russian roads and climate, they have enhanced reliability and viability.

Tanks for aircraft refuellers have a case-shaped section which enables lower tank height and its centre of gravity, enhancing the vehicle’s maneuverability and stability. There are inner reinforcement ribs which damping as “breakwaters” the hydraulic impact of the oil products and making the tanks more rigid.

The following modern solutions are introduced at the GRAZ plant:

cutting, bending and formation of irregular shaped surfaces using high-accuracy automatic equipment
bilateral automatic submerged arc welding inside and outside
special metal cut out, reducing the length of weld seams
multiple quality control, including seams X-ray control, compressed air leakage test and ultrasonic flaw detection.

All GRAZ aircraft refuellers have multilevel security system:

Tank Filling Limiter System.
System of control for operator’s condition (“Dead man”).
System of earthing.
System of blocking rooter’s movement.
Refueling Pressure Control System.
System of firefighting.

All GRAZ aircraft vehicles are in full compliance with Russian GOST standards R 52 906-2008, TU, with guides and directions of Russian Federal air transport Service (FS AT RF) over on an operation technology of aircraft providing with fuel while filling up technique.

The quality management system of GRAZ is certificated as complying with ISO 4001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 by the certifying authority “Russian register”.
